Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (collectively, Xbox series X | S), is a line of desktop video consoles developed by Microsoft and the fourth generation of the Xbox console family. The console family, collectively known as Project Scarlett and revealed for the first time at E3 2019, includes the Xbox Series X of High-end, revealed in The Game Awards 2019 and whose name in code is Project Anaconda, and The Xbox Series S of lower cost, announced in September 2020 and whose name in code is Project Lockhart.
